Classical Empire Flame Mahogany Chairs - $400 SOLD Item # 009 These chairs are constructed with a rich flame mahogany, reconditioned and stabilized, still wearing the wealth of their 100 plus years (plus some touching up and wax). They are ca. 1840, Classical Empire chairs. The set is identical in construction, but outfitted with unique, but complementary, needlepoint seat cushions. These have been cleaned, yet retain the original stuffing, presumably horsehair. They are a stable seat at the table, or a tasteful accent.
